The Dean of Academics - The Right Rev’d Richard G. Melli, CSP, Th. D. ( Bishop Melli has been Dean of Academics for three seminaries in the last 25 years. He is a retired Episcopal Bishop, holder of a number of Degrees including Doctor in Theology.)

The Assistant Dean – The Rev’d Thomas Boully, M. Div. ( Fr. Boully is Vicar of a traditional Episcopal Church in Florida and holder of a Master's Degree in Divinity.)

The Chancellor – The Honorable John Mc Nabb, J. D.

The Director of Programs – The Rev’d Kenneth Mavity, Th.D. ( Dr. Mavity is a retired Baptist theologian and former Dean of a seminary in South America for many years. He was then the Pastor of a church in Georgia , and considered a leading Baptist Educator )

Prof. Alfred Phillips, Ph. D. ( Judaic Studies ) - Dr. Phillips is a Jewish Scholar - and author of the Course in Judaic Studies.

STATEMENT OF MISSION

The Holy Spirit Online Seminary has only one purpose for being established - to train the Clergy and Laity of the Church. It was so set up, that a man called to the Ministry, could prepare for the Ministry without leaving his home, job, or local church. We also prepare women to enter The Sacred Order of Deaconesses, these women are not Ordained but are Set-Apart as Deaconesses.

That primary purpose still remains, giving them the education and preparation for the ministry to which they are called - to educate, try, examine, and otherwise prepare them for that ministry, again in the “external” or non-residential mode. Many of tomorrow’s clergy are hearing the call in their mid-life, or even later, and cannot leave home, job and family to attend a full-time seminary.

A second purpose is to provide quality Christian Education to the Lay Members of the Church. With this in mind, the Faith & Practice Programs have been designed, as simple courses that will teach all the essentials of the faith.

Holy Spirit Online Seminary will provide our Graduating Students with Advanced Degrees including Licentiates in Theology (L. Th.), Master of Divinity (M. Div.), and Doctoral (Th. D.) Degrees in a number of Theological Disciplines.

The fact that we are underwritten as a small Seminary, allows us to provide some of the most reasonable prices of any of the Classical Theological Colleges. Scholarships are also available for financially needy Students.

It is our goal to provide our Students Personal Attention, a Classical Theological Education, and Spiritual Preparation that will prepare them for all phases of the Ministry.

We have a faculty that is small but highly expert in English Reformation Theology. This allows most Students, a highly motivating and complete preparation for the Clergy Life. Each Student has a Personal Academic Advisor, who will monitor his progress and assist him to complete all the assignments.

Holy Spirit Seminary will assist Students in placing them in appropriate denominational settings, after qualifying them for Ordination.

Holy Spirit Seminary particularly invites Foreign Students to pursue their theological studies through our facility, if they have access to the Internet.
