ACADEMIC POLICIES

  1. Courses are available through External Independent Studies, therefore Students may begin anytime.

  2. The Faculty, using the Alpha System, will provide grading. Upon registration a Faculty member will be assigned to each student as a Personal Academic Advisor and will be the contact person between the student and the Seminary.

  3. Where a student and Faculty member disagree over grading, the student may appeal to the Dean of the Seminary for review.

  4. Terms and conditions and course offerings are subject to change. However, as long as a student is in good standing, the catalogue in use at the time of Registration shall apply.

  5. No certificate, diploma or degree will be awarded until all Fees are paid in full.

  6. Faculty makes extensive use of e-mail to maintain personal contact with students.

  7. Where a student has difficulty, the Faculty will work with the student until at least a satisfactory level is achieved.

  8. The Seminary philosophy is to assist the students in succeeding in their course work to prepare them for ministry. Students should keep in touch with their Faculty Advisor at least once a month.

  9. Students may request one course withdrawal without prejudice. However the Seminary reserves the right to terminate a degree program after one withdrawal.

  10. If the Seminary does not hear from a student within 60 days, it will be assumed that the student has withdrawn, and his Student Record will be so noted.
